Real Life Programs

If you are leaving school, studying, working, unemployed or struggling financially, or unsure about your future and want new directions then the Real Life Programs are for you!

There are six programs in the Real Life Program that focus on the skills, knowledge and actions you need in real life to live into your successful future. You can do any one of them, or all six!

Your strengths, talents, dreams and passions becomes the compass to improve your life in key areas such as finances, housing, work and making a difference in your community.

So if you want to learn real life skills such as being a tenant, sharing accommodation, seeking a job, becoming self employed or managing finances then the Real Life Programs could be your answer!

When you register with us you will have access to our on-line program then practice what you have learned in a group with other young people. Our highly skilled, trained and experienced leaders create safe, respectful and fun learning spaces to apply your learning using games and real-life scenarios.

My money keys

My money keys is a unique program designed to increase your confidence, motivation, knowledge and skills about finances.

The 6 money Keys focus on personal and family money beliefs, financial goal setting, spending and earning, debt and credit, saving and investing and creating supportive money buddies.

My money keys grew from community consultations across Queensland and has been designed with Professor Mark Brimble, Griffith University, to meet Financial Literacy Foundation methodology.

My calling

If you want a job, a different job, or wish to explore a solo business idea, My calling is for you.

The program unearths your strengths, talents and passions that guides your calling. As well as job readiness you will explore how to meet the 7 characteristics employers are seeking.

As ‘portfolio’ work is relevant now and into the future, you will build a portfolio that includes foundational and technical skills. My calling is future-focused in a time of declining full-time work so your budding idea could become a micro-business and we show you how!

My place

Have you thought about how you want to live your life into the future? You will discover there are a range of housing options available based on different lifestyle choices.

You are likely to rent to start with so understanding your tenant rights and responsibilities and knowing how to deal with roommate challenges can support harmonious living. And when you’re ready, learn the steps in buying a home.
